Special Presentation: Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule

We are working to get more local food produced, sold, and consumed within our region. As part of our Regional Food System Partnership planning grant, we want to understand how food safety regulations and requirements like these impact the way we get food from farms to tables. Furthermore, we want to explore ways to digitally collaborate to standardize, streamline, and save costs to comply with these requirements across the value chain.

At noon on March 24th the USDA is also hosting a webinar on understanding USDA GAP Audits in Colorado. You can register for that to learn about USDA fruit and vegetable audit programs and determine which will meet your buyer's requirements.
